Man. Children of Men is an intense, harsh, brutal movie, especially when you're sitting in the front row in a pretty big theatre. I'm still sort of decompressing

Really? Because I'm supposed to go see it on Thursday. Was kind of hoping it would be a bit more hopeful than that.

Hmm... Well, it is a dark film, but I didn't mean to imply that it felt hopeless. It's just intense and brutal. Lots of bad things happen in the movie, so you might want to avoid it on those grounds, but unless you're really squeamish about violence I still strongly recommend you see it.

Just get to the theater early and find a seat that isn't in the second row. :)
