Perhaps this is a new rule: Whenever I hear this song I will create a new LJ entry to document the fact.
Ah, and here's an addition to the rule: I can continue to write about other things on my mind but I have to stop when the song ends. Let's give this a shot at least once because I'm almost certainly going to forget about this by tomorrow.
I'm working on a couple web sites that should have uses in themselves but that I'm making now because I want to impress the dude at the design company I want to work at (one of the jobs I mentioned in my last post.)
The first page is to promote a web design company I would like to form. It's slick, minimalist, and heaving on crazy JavaScript behaviour. The other site is a portfolio site that could be described much the same way. The biggest difference between the two is honestly that the first one is dark and the second one is light. (one minute left on the song)
I'm hanging out at The House on Parliament which is a pub in Cabbagetown (on Parliament St., surprisingly.) It's a cool place and it has become one of my regular late night home-avoidance haunts. It's got a nice atmosphere, there's a little trickle of wifi I can just catch the edge of and they tend to be open till past 2am.
OK. It's done. I'll see you next time.
