I'm here.
I'm just sort of transitory.
I went home for the election. I wanted to be with my dad on the day. He didn't win, but I'm told he ran an excellent campaign and it seems like we're all able to move on without too much crushing depression.
I'm back in Toronto now.
I haven't found a job yet. I'm still slowly working down my savings. I found out where I stand with the job I'm doing for free now: I probably won't get paid until the summer, and maybe not even then. This means it's time to get that resume out there and start shaking down all my friends, family and passing acquaintances for any opportunities. Hoo boy.
Today I helped a friend of mine move from the further reaches of Richmond Hill down to the King and Parliament area. This is a good thing, mostly because it would be hard to find a worse place to live than Richmond Hill, but also because it means he's only about 15-20 minutes from my place, on foot.
My roommate and I had some friends over tonight as our part of the semi-weekly dinner ritual we've started. We made lasagne and caesar salad. It was good. Now I'm tired.
