tothewoods (what?Communities don'tlink?) to see an old friend, the one who introduced me to LJ some,what, 5 years ago? Four accounts later, and much water under the bridge between us, it was good to hear he is still alive. He discovered his cancer as soon as he landed in Uzbekistan, there for the Peace Corp., only to be shipped back home as troops started to arrive in this place we had never heard of. Now we've heard too much of it, and I had heard nothing of him. His locked account had given me no answers to his health, but it seems as though he'll be fine.
How do I know two guys who have had to quit the Peace Corp. because of testicular cancer? So odd...
