Movies I saw over break:
Marie Antoinette
Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny
The Queen
The Fountain
The winner: The Queen. Obviously you can't really compare a Tenacious D movie and Helen Mirren's Oscar worthy performance, but I don't think you are supposed to :P. All had good points; some more than others. I don't want to piss people off by spouting my opinions. If you want to know what I think about any of these movies then you can ask me :). I have things to say but I don't think I will be in the majority of opinion and that's just no fun to be the stick in the mud... well not at this moment anyway.
I'm going back tomorrow morning. And then I have to write about 8 pages on Hamlet. FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN. Did I mention: FUN? It could be worse. But it's so HARD to get motivated to work these last two weeks. SO. VERY. HARD. I want to get back to Ludwell and the campus, I just don't ever want to go to classes again. This semester has, without a doubt, been the WORST semester I've had so far at college. I will be SO thankful when I get to close the book FOREVER on these classes.
I wish I had some encouragement every now and then... I feel like J.D. on Scrubs because all I really want is a mentor. Someone who would tell me that this will all be worth it when I'm a brilliant professor of literature at Oxford married to a Duke who writes best selling novels and stars opposite Clive Owen in period films. But so far none of my professors seem interested in feeding me this kind of encouragement. Damn.
