I am very happy with my decision to work in the medical field. As I watch the numbers on Wall Street plumet, and hear about 100 people showing up for a minimum-wage paying job at a restaurant downtown, I realize I'm going to be in a much better position than most. I know exactly how you feel. I don't exactly love living in Henderson but having a decent paying job in the field I studied for is more than enough to be grateful for right now. Especially when I hear about the 500+ people trying to get on at the new coal mine near here. They apparently swamped the interviews and they had to extend the process.
