I am very happy with my decision to work in the medical field. As I watch the numbers on Wall Street plumet, and hear about 100 people showing up for a minimum-wage paying job at a restaurant downtown, I realize I'm going to be in a much better position than most. I need to learn Spanish pronto, though! Now not just so I won't be useless to anyone who can't speak English, but to improve my job prospects as well.
