*holds his index finger over his persed lips while his face turns ever greener! (pun intended. :-p)* Flying! Ack! Makes me get sick just thinking of going up there. Last time I flew in a plane was 1975. I was flying to New Joyzee (bad spelling intentional). I was over the wings of the jet and saw them moving up and down. Alarmed, I called the stewardess and told her. She replied "Oh! Of course the wings are flapping. How do you think the jet stays in the air?" Errp! :-p
Anyway, I can see life where I live is far removed from where you live. Over here a "drag show" involves a short strip of pavement and two V8 powered cars. There aren't any barmen in interesting clothing unless they're doing the driving. :-p
Sorry to hear about the job situation. Been there, done that many times over. Nothing's like spiraling down with the local economy and watching every industry that made the area great vanishing in a puff of smoke along with your job. Funny where you end up though. Who'd have thought I'd end up doing what I do? Oddly, speaking "Elvish" and playing "Battlefield 1942" are considered job requuirements. After all, you deal with Elves and there's no doubt what kind of battlefield takes place inside a school bus! :-p
