there are three things that will definitely stay with me from today:
* spending time and sharing Busted madness with some truely lovely people
* the way we attracted all the nutters
* Charlie smiling, I mean, really smiling, actually genuinely happy smiling
day started very early with my alarm going off at 5am, scream! quickly up and dressed, small picnic packed along with James' Jaffa Cake Trifle and all the party bits, fed the cats, slapped on a bit of makeup and into the car by 5:50. so that meant I went down the M1 and round the M25 - I'd decided if I could leave by 6am I'd go that route and if not I'd go via Coventry and down the M40. needless to say I made the wrong choice and after making excellent progress during the first hour I spent the next 2 moving very slowly. but I made it before 10 and joined Joey, Sushi and Steph in the queue and immediately started force feeding sandwiches, biscuits, crisps, fruit down them so I didn't have to bring it all home.
got a certain amount of pleasure bullying the duty manager into doing the right thing about the queue positions for Joey and the rest of us, I think he valued his life and after we finally got upstairs I found myself begin interviewed and photographed about the trifle.
they signed my photos, Matt was appreciative of his teddy, Charlie loved my t-shirt and James, well he did say thank you for his trifle but I was being pushed out of the way by someone who shoved her present in front of mine - manners children, manners.
I am now very, very tired and need to sleep.
say goodbye to my pink hair ladies as tomorrow it changes colour, not sure what to yet, something a little more subtle for the start of term. the summer is officially over for me.
