Day 1 and 2

Breakfast granola bar (100 calories)
Lunch Amy's lentil soup 1/2 can (150 calories)
Snack 1 cup grapes (62 calories)
Dinner 1/2 cup soy beans (149 calories)
1 cup yams (158 calories)
1/3 cup peas (39 calories)
total: 658 calories

Beverages: black tea and water.

Exercise: 45 minutes elliptical and 1.5 mile walk with the dog

So overall I wasn't hungry most of the day, and I didn't cut portions that much. I did cut my lunch in half but that's because the salt level on the lentil soup is out of this world!

Day 2 will consist of:
Breakfast apple cinnamon oatmeal (130 calories)
Lunch Amy's low fat Minestrone soup 1 can (180 calories)
Snack 1 cup grapes (62 calories)
Dinner buscuits and gravy with poached eggs. the soup was not done.
Dinner 1.5 cups split pea soup made from scratch - had to guess calories here (230 calories)
and crackers for the soup (80 calories)
total 682 calories

Beverages black tea, blueberry tea and water.

Exercise 45 minutes on the elliptical

I think I need to add more calories, although I'm not really cutting back that much if I do. The past couple of days are typical meals and meal sizes for me. Maybe another snack to keep my metabolism ramped up in the afternoon.
