Food, Friends, Cars
So with my $294 refund check I spent $150 on groceries. We stocked up on everything. We had one of the best salads and bread stick dinners I've had in a while. Before shopping we got some pretty crappy news about Rudy's car. Jason looked at it and diagnosed it with a warped head. fuck. So a new engine is in store for the car. I hope it doesn't rack up a large bill. Rudy said he knows somebody that may be able to get an engine for cheap. I hope so.
Tonight is pool league. Rudy is super stoked. He hurt his thumb yesterday so that sucks ass. I hope it won't effect his game. I hope Jason remembers to pick up a glove for him. I hope I kick ass, again.
Wednesday is poker, Thursday is the fair again, Friday my brother plays in Tacoma. Saturday and Sunday I'm not sure what's going on. Something about another poker game if I remember right. I find that life is either super fast or super slow. Right now I feel like gearing up for maximum speed.
Tomorrow Amber comes in for the interview for Corliss. I'm nervous about it, I hope she gets the job. I know it would be a good move for her. It would make me happy to know I could help a friend out with just a simple, "hey look at this!"
oh, and I am still enjoying my rosemary lemonade from Bellingham. it's so fucking good. be jealous.
