Oh Green Day :)  I don't care how mainstream they are, I lurv the fact that I know all the words to every song on the American Idiot CD.

I looked out of my window a couple of minutes ago and noticed orange reflected in the windows of the building across from us...so I went outside to the other side of our apartment and looked out.  It made me happy...the sun made a brief, glorious appearance just for sunset :)  It was mostly orange, but there was red and purple too.  It was nice because today has been disgusting and rainy and dark.  Which is fun sometimes.  I'm just tired of it.

...which made me think the other day...I really miss living in a house with a yard and a sidewalk.  I used to love to go out and dick around with the flowers around our house in the evening.  Or chase Ali and Caleb around.  There's something that's oddly comforting about feeling cement under your bare, calloused feet.  And the freedom of shorts (as much as I hate my legs, ha).  I also miss going to my uncle's for family get-togethers and just sitting around with my family, listening to the conversation as they get progressively drunker.  I want summer to hurry up and get here.

I got my slippers back from Johnny, which is exciting.  I love them...they're furry and rainbow-coloured.  And they keep my feet from being cold, which is a common complaint in this apartment.

My grandparents are moving to Florida at the end of the month.  It makes me really sad.  I knew they would leave this year, I just didn't think it would be so soon.  My whole family is taking it pretty hard.  They're not even our actual grandparents, but they act more like them than the ones that are actually related to us.

Spring Break in a little over a week :)
