I love looking through old photographs :)
Today I got to :)!! It was great, because I really was just looking through this book that my dad put together to keep all my "awards" and whatnot in. It's really cool, because the first thing that I saw when i opened it was a class picture of me in Kindergarten :D I think that my dad just found it recently, because I haven't seen it...well, at all--that I can remember. It was kinda cool, because kindergarten was the only year that I didn't go to DeKalb...I went to Northcrest Elementary :) Pretty cool :)
And I found ALL of my report cards, K-5, and most of 6-12, even a sheet that I'd printed off my grades for my parents to see this first semester of college. All of my old softball and basketball pictures...and clippings about our teams in the Evening Star :) It was not so great, though....I was (haha, still am!) such a homely girl....both when I was little and during the lovely awkward years of my adolescence. I think I hit my low at about 9th grade, though...*sigh* ah well. But it was pretty cool for me :) We have tons of acadmic awards...and even my ISTEP reports. It's crazy.
It's neat, though, that we have all the stuff from Speech team and Academic Superbowl stuff :D Anyway, don't mean to go on about it...I'm just a sucker for stuff like that where I get to look at old stuff :) I like memories :D
Soooo...yeah :) First day of work was tonight :) that was fun. I like the people that I'm gonna be working with :) Should be great. I WAS on my feet for six hours...so I was pretty tired when I got home.
Yeah...and guess what. When I get home, I go into my sister's room, and my mom's setting out her clothes for tomorrow. So I go in, and I'm like, "Dad told me that you guys are going to see the new Star Wars tomorrow...about what time?--because I'd like to go."
Her answer? "Well, you heard wrong. Just the FOUR of us are going, you aren't."
Me, "What?? Why?? What did I do this time?"
Her, "You didn't do anything, you're just not going. It's just for the four of us."
Needless to say, that hurt a little bit. I told her that from now on, she cannot bitch about how much I see Johnny, and don't "do anything with them," because it's her fault that I don't spend time with my "family"--namely, her. She can shove it. Dammit, she makes me so angry!! I swear to god, she doesn't have feelings....better yet, a heart. *sigh* ah well :(
Anyway, I work again tomorrow :) It'll be fun :) I'm just looking forward to really relaxing tonight/tomorrow.
Soooo....yep. I'm gonna get right on that :) First step: keep talking to Johnny! He's the ultimate relaxer...:D Take that any way you want to!:D:D:D:D
