Driver picks the music...

I’m putting together an “album side” to submit to my local classic rock radio station. They choose one submission to play every weekday and I’m like “SOMEDAY THEY WILL PLAY MINE.” Of course, I have to send one to them first. But how to choose the tracks? How to narrow down the entire catalog of classic rock to a mere seven songs?? How to approach this daunting task from a place of chronic indecision??? The answer, of course, is a Supernatural theme!

Help me out, SPN-loving humans! I’ve made a list of some classic rock songs featured in the show. I have some personal favorites, but I’d like to hear yours! Which ones were your favorite music cues on the show? Which songs do you simply the like best, regardless of SPN context? Vote for your seven favorites! (Or more than seven, or fewer; vote however your heart moves you. :P I will probably do at least two of these SPN album sides, tbh.)

I’ve excluded several iconic songs based on genre, and I’ve also stuck to songs featured during the episode itself, since I have a separate list for songs used during the “Road So Far” recaps. But I also haven’t done exhaustive research, and am surely missing some good music cues. Please comment with any suggestions for songs that I’ve missed! And let me know what you love about your favorites, or how you’d put a “Supernatural album side” together!

Poll

The results of this poll may or may not determine the way I put together my SPN-themed album side(s), but in any case I like to hear how other people respond to the music of SPN. :)

I also am planning to submit album sides based on personal favorite tracks, Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin only, SPN “Road So Far” recap songs, maybe SPN episode titles, etc. My main problem is going to be “How many album sides is too many” and “How long is long enough to wait between submissions.” o___O
