I love posts like these. <333 Everyone's origin stories (and/or stories of descent into the best Hell there is) are always so different and heartwarming. And bring it on, S13, indeed!!!!! I need to remember to stay of LJ until I've seen the ep. It's been a while since I've had to be cautious about spoilers! Time to get back into spoilerphobic shape. XD
I love "origin stories" as well! When I feel like I've got my fandom footing, I might try to tell the story of how I found my way here. I'm actually compiling a list of people whose fandom participation has encouraged and/or inspired me to join in (I'm hoping to write them thank-yous, of a sort)-and you, my dear, are at the top of that list. <333
I watched the last couple of seasons as something of a spoiler-seeker, so I'm pretty unused to this spoilerphobia myself. It's a strain on the mental tip-toeing muscles, to be sure. XP May our caution serve us well! Hope you enjoy(ed?) the episode!!
It's fun being part of fandom and watching the show, you can put on your fandom goggles and take them off, or laugh about how you just KNOW fandom is going to react to certain scenes. It adds another layer of enjoyment to the watch IMO.
LOL! and “Jensen Ackles’ face, the weirdest mix of ‘tough guy’ and ‘pretty boy’ I’ve ever seen.” Sooooo true. Maybe not quite as much 'pretty' now as he's gotten a bit older, but he's still gorgeous. And it's always nice to rewatch an older episode and enjoy his face.

I feel like such a fandom/spn baby sometimes: I can't believe it's been three whole years; but then again, I can't believe it's only been three years! XD (Especially when we have 12+ years of Show!) I did some fandom creeping observing while I watched the last couple of seasons, but this will be my first time "inside the bubble," so to speak. So while I might see a lot of familiar stuff this time around, I now have a slightly different view of it, to be sure. Participation (in, uh, whatever form I can manage) should be fun!
Ah yes, Jensen's face is enjoyable every episode of every season! :) We have such an attractive cast overall. Such wonderful faces! (And eyes? I love eyes. And our leads have such KILLER EYESSSS. :DDD)
It's so exciting!!! Not just seeing the ep, but reading reactions and fics and drabbles, and just getting back into having Sam and Dean back on the screen!!! \o/ (ps, a couple of seasons ago I started doing a 100 word drabble per episode, and I'm doing it again this season. So please feel free to stop by for some episode chat, or just to say hi, or even write one yourself if you fancy it!)
Jensen's face is a great way to get into this show!!! I've been watching since season 1, but we were behind the US in the UK so I don't think I started to watch it 'live' until season 9 ish, or something. Watching this show introduced me to fandom. After the season 1 finale I remember looking online for anything to do with the show; pictures, spoilers, interview, anything, and I stumbled across fanfiction and then fandom, and the rest is history. It's hard to imagine not having this in my life now.
I had a bit of experience with watching fandom reactions and things these past couple of years, which was pretty fun sometimes, but certainly not the same thing as participating and interacting, and I'm looking forward to it! =} (As much participation as I can muster, at least. How do y'all with more than like 3 friends do it?! XD)
Jensen's face played its part quite well. :D Although I must also give credit to Jared's face, because it wasn't long before I discovered his face as well (he and Jensen are something of a package deal, really XD) and I had a similar reaction: one of the weirdest-looking faces I've ever seen (like some bizarre mix of Matt Damon and Heath Ledger, was how I thought about it). And somehow I found Jared's and Jensen's faces curious enough to investigate, and voila! Here I am in Supernatural fandom three years later! (And I now have a much less "weirded out" and much more appreciative response their faces, ahahaha.)
Oh yay, it's all very exciting!!! As I watch in the UK, I can't watch the ep until Friday evenings at the earliest (but sometimes it's the weekend, if I have plans!) and then it's a mad rush to read and comment as much as I can after I've seen the ep (I'm a bit of a spoilerphobe!) So I'm always a little late for the party, but the excitement seems to last until the new ep airs, and then it all starts again! It's frantic, but I love it!

Jensen's face is a great way to get into this show!!!
