Today's lesson, part one of an indefinetley surviving class revolving around understanding people and their motives, begins with:
Understanding People Lesson #1: To detect the Fake, the Pseudo, the Influencable (w/Music Discussion)
--taught by Dr. Aaron L. Fidler, Ph.D Dumbfuckilosohpy
To begin this lesson i will begin by giving the warning signs:
Sec. A) Upon a falling out, and their inevitable cowerance to another person/group, their tastes change to better fit with that group/person.
-i.e. their music changes from what you listened to, evolving into the other person's completley different music. This shows they follow the tastes of whoever they're with.
Sec. B) Their opinions are so drastically changed from when you knew them best--fitting the glove of the other person's
-i.e. opinions on political, moral and ethical issues that follow the other person's. This is caused because the person does not want to disagree with the new person, for fear of rejection--loss of common traits.
Sec. C) Lastly, these changes occured over a short period of time elapsing, but not necisarrily limited or restrained to, two months
While these issues aren't essential to the character of the person (music) they are perfect signs of a Pseudo-Friend.
It's funny how in only a short period of time a person can change so drastically--not that change is wrong and a sign of bad character--but when the change happens only to satisfy a new person's desires...it's pathetic really.
Remember, be steadfast, don't change yourself for another person, another group, do not change your music of choice for another person, satisfaction is only truly attained from within yourself.
Point 1 of the day: It's amazing how much music can tell about you.
Point 2 of the day: don't change anything about yourself, unless Yourself changes you.
Lesson #1 has now completed. Your time has elapsed: please insert $0.50 for next lesson--TBA.
...but i'm not too polite anymore
