Cut to about a half hour ago, six-something am.  I'm done snoozing, and I've gotten up to write a response paper for my philosophy class.  I'm pretty groggy because I've never really been a morning person, and it's always hard to leave a warm bed when it's cold outside.  I go to the bathroom, and, as I'm coming back, I look out the common room

Ah! That sounds so lovely! And I too have a philosophy paper (ugh, free will vs. determinism)..unfortunately I can't escape to any snow outside, just wind. :(

It was fantastic! :) It's a shame you don't really get that, at all, in Florida - but then you could decorate a palm tree for Christmas. I'm envious.

And, whoot, philosophy papers, we're so scholarly. (Mine was on the fashion-beauty complex, yeaaah feminism.)
