Squall realized his mistake in not asking Guy what he looked like. Out of the 20, or so, current residents not from this world... Squall had seen barely any of them in person. It would be awkward going up to anybody that stood out from the natives of this world, and asking them if they were Guy. Sighing and pausing in his steps, Squall dropped his face into his hand and shook his head. Well, he was almost at the destination. It did help that he had a map to point out where Guy would be. What were the chances that another resident not from this world would be hanging around in that spot? Sighing, Squall dropped his hand and looked up, before continuing towards the destination.
A few minutes later, he paused his steps, once again. Blue eyes began scanning the area. It did not take long, before they landed on a person that stood out rather... brightly, in Squall's opinion. The mercenary lifted a brow, before approaching the older man.
Guy looked up, noting that someone was approaching him. He blinked and took in the strange, scar and all. If this was Squall, he wondered how the boy came across such a wound. Questions weren’t a big thing right now though, so he stood up and made his mind go back to the task at hand.
He assumed that this was Guy. Squall paused his steps, before nodding. Taking a few seconds to quickly study the other, Squall noted that he got a good vibe from the blonde. He rested a hand on his hip, before moving his hand to quickly scratch the back of his head, for a brief moment. Dropping the hand that was on his head to his side. Yeah, conversation was definitely not his strong point.
Guy nodded and smiled. So it was who he had been looking for. Motioning towards a restaurant, he started towards it. “From what I’ve been through, planning on anything on an empty stomach is usually a bad thing. So how about we eat something while we plan?” he suggested, opening the door for Squall. He then came in behind him and waited to be seated. “This place has some good food.”
