Who: Allen and Lavi Where: Library What: Allen kicking Lavi's ass having a talk with Lavi. When: After Lavi's giving up post Rating: Eh. PG-13. :| I guess.
Anyone that saw the white-haired boy, would probably think he was going off to a war. His facial expression made it obvious he was feeling a mix between heartbreak and sadness. Who could blame him? Between being stuck in this town and thinking that Lavi did not need Allen, the boy was far from being happy. That was not to say that he felt he was worse off than anybody here. Honestly, the exorcist was doing his best to focus less on himself. Really, he was; however, part of him still wanted to give up on helping

Lavi heard a stack of books clash to the floor as well as a flutter of papers and a cloud of dust followed by a sneeze. His green eye drifted lazily over to the source of the sound. He figured, at first, that it was just one of the librarians. It happened every once in a while.
"Hey, are you al-" he stopped in mid-question when he saw the white haired exorcist. His eye widened and he stood up quickly. "Allen?" he said a little breathlessly. He was pretty sure the shorter boy was done with him completely.
He took a step towards him and his heart beat a little strangely for a moment. He stopped a few feet in front of him and looked at him sadly. "I'm surprised you actually want to see me" he said, his lips turning into a smile, though his eyes were still sad.

He simply stood in place as Lavi stepped towards him. Looking downward at the words, Allen gave a sigh. He closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them again and looking back at the red head. Allen then remembered why he came here, in the first place. His expression turned more serious, though the hint of sadness and worry remained there in his eyes. It was obviously taking everything Allen had just to stand there and look fine.
"I came to make sure you weren't really giving up."
Allen knew he had no right to judge anybody for wanting to give up. He did not think Lavi was an idiot for wanting to give up. He simply... did not want him to give up.

He looked at the other for a moment before averting his eye. "I don't know anymore. I don't feel like trying anymore" he shrugged. He didn't want to give up, he really didn't, but his spirits were shattered. He honestly couldn't think of anything anymore and he was tired. He really was.
He knew Allen's goal was to save everyone. His drive was so strong to help people that Lavi envied him for that, slightly. But he could even see that the determined boy was starting to waver. He had never heard him ever say that he wanted to give up, but that post on the device...
This place, this god forsaken place was running everyone down to their core. Maybe he was next to go insane. To remain lifeless here in this library surrounded by the dusty books cut off from the rest of this world.
