As many of you know, personal training is a long-standing passion of mine. I've studied exercise science, once earned a certification from a prestigous conditioning organization, and read exercise science and kinestesiology for recreation. It's always been a shame to me that I wasn't able to bring myself to pursue it professionally

Am I eligible for this, and can I take a raincheck until March? The Bunnymuffin (my dear affianced) and I are getting married in March, and he is moving here from Michigan. We have discussed making a lifestyle change at that point in order to improve our lives and our health. A family membership to the YMCA will likely be our starting point. I could DEFINITELY use some help with diet/nutrition, and fitness/training advice would doubtless help as well. I'd love to have your advice on this if you are willing to work with me via email or whatever

That sounds like a great idea to me. If you wanted to do it, that'd be great. I'm pretty poor, atm, and my schedule for work varies all over the place. Those are my only constraints, though the money is the biggest. The thing I want is just to lose weight over all. Just for health reasons, since the only thing that bothers me about myself is my belly, and well tailored clothes hide that easily, and I don't mind the shape of my body other than that.

Pft. It's been a long time since I've seen you, but I'm 5'9", 180lbs, black female. Don't mind outdoors, but I hate cold so outdoors is tricky. We've also been getting ridiculous amounts of snow for VA. I'd like to gain some strength, but I'm mostly worried about weight. Anything else you need to know, feel free to ask.
