When she was good and ready
102 years old is a long time to live. I think when someone lives to be that old, the idea of them dying can become silly, you almost think they will just keep living. Katherine Murphy, a dear friend and chosen family of the Colhouns, once said that if God himself came down to take her, she would tell Him she wasn't going until she was good and ready. She was stubborn, opinionated and very, very Irish. A strong woman with a lot of spirit who could be bossy with a kind heart and a sharp tongue. She must have finally been ready to join her husband and her sister. Rest in peace, Aunt Katherine, you've earned it.
