Velma's service

It was not the overally religious service I was fearing but a beautiful tribute to her memory. Afterwards, Harry, Howard and I made our way down to the Duplex and hung out for a couple of hours, toasting Velma with Maker's Mark and singing along. Michael Dionne was there on his night off and he dedicated Hotel California to us and Velma. For that one night, a small section of the Rose's Turn Worthless Choir was revived. We made Duplex regulars who had never heard *that* particular version of the song laugh out loud. I am sure Velma approved.
