Weirdo cat
As I'm cleaning the cat pans this morning, Smeagol is going through his routine:
Firsties: Smeagol will follow me to the litter pan so he can have first dibs in the freshly scooped pan.
Lasties: This is a relatively new habit Smeagol's developed of running into the pan just as I am going to scoop it and leaving me one last present before I scoop.
Lasties and firsties: "Hey mom, let me get in there last. Oh hey, the pan is clean now so I got firsties too! Thanks mom!" He will wait around after lasties and as soon as I put the lid back on, will run in and do his thing to get firsties. Weirdo cat.
Super firsties: When Smeagol realizes I am not just scooping but doing a complete litter change, he will follow me to every pan in the house to be the first to decorate the pristine new litter. Did I say weirdo? I meant super weirdo. :)
