The weekend of movies

Mar 18, 2012 08:31

I love movies, thanks to my Dad's love of them, but I rarely carve out enough time to watch them. Not this weekend. Friday night, The Goonies was on and Bree and I settled in and watched it from start to finish. What a fun movie and Sean Astin is so damn young! By the time we were done it was only 9:30, so we decided to watch one of the Neflix DVDs in the house. With grilled cheese sandwiches on plates in our laps we watched the 1945 version of And Then There Were None. There are many versions of Agatha Christie's classic, but this was Dad's favorite and the one watched most in my home. I'm delighted that Bree enjoys it as much as I do. Yesterday, the four of us went out to see The Artist, a wonderful picture I highly recommend. My Dad would have loved it. I'm wondering if I could fit one last movie in today.

movies, memory lane, daddy
