"Nice Lady"
Harry says I have sign outside my house and possibly on my forehead that says Nice Lady for those who need to see it. Tonight's visitor is a pigeon that looks slightly older than a fledgling. One of Bree's friends rescued it after it flew into a glass door. He said it flapped around a little and couldn't fly afterward and he suspected it had a broken wing. His plan was to leave it in his back yard overnight but given the feral cat population in our neighborhood, I vetoed that idea. Currently it is resting comfortably in a small cage in a quiet dark room in the back of the house. I'm guessing it's in shock but the wing is definitely not broken. A quick look on the internet let me know what to feed it so it has fresh food and water and a safe place for the night. If it dies, it will die safe and warm. If by the morning it is still with me, then I will place the cage outside and open the door and let it get on with it's life.
