It's not all gloom and doom

It's Saturday morning and I should be sleeping, right? Well, yes, I should be, especially since Bree's appointment with her therapist was moved to Wednesday afternoon. Busy weekend here! merina October 2 2010, 16:56:49 UTC
Today is a full day here:

AM: Younger child to tennis, older child to a Guard breakfast. Pick everyone up.

Noon: feed everyone, get older child to practice for competition tonight

afternoon: watch part of band rehearsal, hand out uniforms to band kids, make sure they get loaded on buses without forgetting things like uniforms and instruments. Spouse will be helping to load truck with equipment, younger daughter will be helping me. Wave BYE BYE to bus.

PM: Pile in car to drive with some friends (and fellow roadies) to Trumbull, CT for competition. Cheer on Band and Guard. Stand around. Act as a roadie (helping to get equipment on and off field and on and off truck. Drive all the way home.

Late PM: Arrive home. Wait for daughter to get back to HS on the bus. Pick her up and take her to 'after party'. Go home. Wait 40 minutes or so. Pick her up from after party.

1 AM or so: Everyone goes to bed!

Sunday is a bit better: sleep in! make breakfast (biscuits or pancakes) homework, farmers' market, music practice for those of us with lessons this week, work on daughter's friend's costume for anime con next week, food shopping, cook, RELAX!!
