Ah, music
I was feeling pretty down, defeated and cranky this evening. Then I turned on the Ipod and tuned out the world while doing some paperwork. The husky voice of Robert Downey Jr. loosened up my overworked nerves. The smooth crooning of Tony Bennett melted the stress of the last few days. Then the wonderful instrumentals of Leroy Anderson made me smile and relax. Carmen Miranda and the Andrew Sisters gave me the giggles and brought back fond memories. Finally, good ol' Dino has me tapping my foot and smiling broadly, swaying to the music as I type. That's much better. Now, off to bed. :)
