Walked into the house this morning to find what looked to be a murder scene in the kitchen. Molson was on the floor surrounded by piles of towels and blankets completely soaked with blood. Blood was sprayed all over the cabinets , floors, carpet and Molson had it pouring from his nose like a faucet accompanied by chunks of flesh the size of hald dollars. We had to take him out of the house and load him in the back of the truck and I rushed him and Demo to the animal hospital. Of course it was an emrgancy so we caught EVERY red light on the way there. After about 20 minutes we got there and they took him in the back room. We waited awhile and eventually they came out and told us that the bleeeding had stopped, which is good. No one knows what to do though since there isn't really any way of knowing what is wrong.
Other than my nightmare morning... I volunteered for 3 differant organizations today. One is called Child Focus...they help with foster children in Nevada. Like one thing they do is collect gifts and birthday cards and stuff for foster kids so we can visit them and greet them on their birthdays so they don't feel forgotton on their special day since so many childrens birthdays pass unnoticed in foster programs. I know when I was a kid my birthday was important as anything...I can't imagine going years with no one even knowing it was my birthday, or they did...except it didn't matter.
Next...was an event that's being held for organ donors, people who need organs/transplants and their families. Its kind of a candlelight vigil type deal, they are going to honour people and try to encourage others to become organ donors , etc. They need help setting up/ passing out fliers and clean up stuff.
Last...is US Vets. Its an organization that assists homeless military veterans. They house over 220 homeless vets in Las Vegas alone. They collect clothing / food , play games , do crafts , teach them lessons with computers/english , etc. and try to help them integrate back into society and live on their own.
Blah. Today sucks.
