So. Bishop's. Went close to perfect as far as I'm concerned. Gonna work monday. Have a cafe to work at friday-sunday as well.

I think one of the reasons it went so well was that I open and honest about my weak points right from the beginning. This and this I don't know how to do, and this I don't know all that much about. I haven't gone to fancy whisky-schools, nor am I a trained sommelier. What I have is basic knowledge and a will to work and learn more. And that, they said, was all they demanded.

So, on the positive side:
Knowledgeable and nice staff.
Friendly and funny regulars.
Things work!
As far as I can tell, there won't be any 12-hour, run until your feet bleed and then run faster-shifts.
I'll actually get to use what I know and learn more.
The music! Hmm? Hey, this is Alice in Chains! Whaa, Korn? Dropkick Murphy's? Cradle of filth? It's alright for me to sing while I work, yes?
Pretty place. Y'know, the whole dark woods and brass-thing.

On the negative side:
Distance and travel-time. I'll be lucky if I can catch the last local train for the night. I hate the night buses. It's not fun to be on your own in central Stockholm in the middle of the night.

Still, I can't be 100% certain yet. The manager is on vacation until the middle of the month, so I won't get to sign a contract until then. With the last test-jobs in mind, I'm sort of cautious. Still, I have a good feeling about this (I know I've said that before, but I'm trying to stay positive here).
