Stupid illness has got me, had a temperature and felt freezing yesterday and the guts kept churning, today it has developed into something unpleasant :(

Watched Fellowship... so far to cheer me up, deciding what to watch next.

This is rubbish, best not be ill for the whole Bank Holiday weekend!

I have thankfully got over that cold I had last week, felt pretty rough come Friday. Was also quite shocked learn Amanda I used to work with at CCC has died, only 54 apparently, I don't know what was wrong, the obituary was vague ( Read more... )

Uuurgh!! Still got the dreaded cold! Stupidly timed cold, I'll have to schedule a better time next year! The office is pretty stuffy too which isn't helping, went for a walk up the canal into town today to clear my head, took ten minutes but reckon I could do it faster, got me the new Garth Nix book and some cool looking short story book from Oxfam ( Read more... )

Weekend update first!! Went out with siyamau and Chris on Friday night, met in Das Boot and had a couple of pints. Got to see Die's coat of wonderment, those Shanghai tailors are amazing! Weekend was amazing, Scott's birthday was ace and he loved his presents. Music Live was fun and the Masters of Death gig was one of the best gigs ever, all the bands were amazing!

Still ill, but not as bad now. More tired than anything. Didn't do a whole lot last night, watched the figure skating, talked to Marf and Kira. I put a few books on ebay to try and get some of them out the way. Going to try to put some more on this week to.
