I think I'm going to have to beg a favor of you: as someone who's still a relative newbie to the gritty world of noir, could you possibly sketch up a Top Five or Top Ten list of the best noir films you've seen? I'd really like to delve deeper into this genre, and I doubt anyone else could properly induct me as you could.

This movie sounds incredible just in terms of the acting and character motivations. And poor little Moe! I adore Thelma Ritter thanks to Rear Window and really should watch more of her work.

Oh, em, gee, I would HATE that! In all honesty, yes, that should be pretty easy. I want to reiterate that it took a little while for me to love noir... I can see it being a divisive genre.

This is easily the best part I've ever seen Thelma Ritter in.
