Memorial Day is always a huge convention weekend, and my con of choice for the past few years was World Steam Expo in Dearborn, MI. Leslie and I are at the Ramada just off the I-71 in Columbus, for a first-year con called Ba-Con. I think it'll be a lot of fun -- it's kinda like PenguiCon, i.e., both open source and sf/f (with a preponderance of steampunk), but with more smoked meat.
