LJ has released Patch 88.2. They seem to have a whole bunch of well-placed tech tickets to deal with, and who knows? Perhaps they'll deal with them. Apparently they will, on some level, restore the subject lines ( Read more... )

Dreamwidth has, for the time being, turned off their invite codes. They're also working on a community import feature from LJ to DW. You can sign up here.

It occurs to me that there are a number of people I haven't seen posting or commenting in months (e.g., jblaque). Everybody okay out there? Check in and say Hi. We worry.

First time since early yesterday afternoon that I have access to my LJ... and now DreamWidth isn't taking my calls.

That's it. I'm switching to WordPress. Dunno exactly when, but if I get a DDoS on my site, at least I know BlueHost will kick somebody's ass over it.

We've been having such fun with it, I thought it would be a cool idea to start a new LJ community, pimpyourstuff. Now the whole family can play!
