Great sadness -- one of the legends has left us.
Ray Bradbury has
passed away at the age of 91. Thank you, sir, for all that you've left us, and all that you've inspired us to do and to be and to write.
What are some of your favorite Bradbury stories? I will always love "There Will Come Soft Rains"; "All Summer In A Day"; Something Wicked This Way Comes, book and movie; "I Sing The Body Electric!", book and television adaptation (not the Twilight Zone version, but
the one with Maureen Stapleton, Edward Herrmann, and Paul Benedict [which you can watch in five parts on YouTube,
starting here]); and "The October Game", one of the scariest stories I've ever read.
