Time's flying by! One month to my MA thesis deadline?! And what do I do? I enjoy my life, every little aspect of it! I've developed a special taste for teenage music, but how can you not love the old boys from Take That with their super energetic
music! At Coffee Cup we've taken up this crazy mutual hobby of ours, we bring old cheesy music like Spice Girls, Whitney Houston etc. and torture our customers with our cheerfulness! On top of my list is these days Amy Winehouse, the brand-new-Take That and John Legend.Yum! My brain gets this super-ecstatic wave and then I can even get extra-creative when writing about art. Yes, so, why not Take That! Why not...Shine!
You, you're such a big star to me
You're everything I wanna be
But you're stuck in a hole and I want you to get out
I don't know what there is to see
But I know it's time for you to leave
We're all just pushing along
Trying to figure it out, out, out.
All your anticipation pulls you down
When you can have it all, you can have it all.
So come on, come on, get it on
Don't know what you're waiting for
Your time is coming don't be late, hey hey
So come on
See the light on your face
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shine.
What I've been up to during the last few weeks...
<- I've met up with the sweetest friend in the world-Katia and we lounged (heh!) at Espresso House drinking Easter soja lattes and chatting with Katias French friend!
I love French people, don't I Marie? (hugs- if youre reading ;)!)
<- I've taken up walking as a hobby! Why not take a stroll through Kungsholmen, via Gamla Stan, Södermalm, Långholmen and back to Kungsholmen on foot! It feels great and my body gets lighter and lighter and my feet are loving the new Ecco walk-friendly shoes! I even walked on foot to T-Centralen before our party-party which turned out to be a blast. Life's been treating me good.
Tegnérlunden! And August Strindberg "lounging" in the park.
Bunnies near Trygg Hansa, Kungsholmen.
Can I take you home?
My beautiful Easter eggs!
Kitchen-window!
Mazurek, that is Polish Easter cake, a tradition that I stood in a queue for...for 30 minutes! It was freezing cold this Saturday and the queue before the Polska Delikatesser was very impressing.Normally, mazurek is lot nicer with beautiful Easter decorations and different icings, but this one was baked in Stockholm so I was pleased enough to buy it! Everyone loved it, to my surprise, and they said it reminded them of some Norwegian marzipan cake.Hmm?
