A day and night to remember...?

Well, today was certainly a unique and full day. I had a principal's excused absence along with all the other jazz band members to go perform at The Fiddler's Elbow golf club in Bedminster for the Governor's Teacher Recognition Award luncheon. Yeah, if you were wondering where Dr. Caravello and Dr. Hogge were from like 11 until the end of the day, they were playing hooky by attending it as well, lol.

So about the Fiddler's Elbow, swanky place, you ask? Indeed... overall the gig went well for my last high school performance ever after four years of jazz band. Dr. Hogge especially seemed to appreciate the performance, so I felt glad to help make his luncheon all the more special. However, with jazz band basically done, I feel like it's left a bitter taste in my mouth. Sure, there were plenty of things I've enjoyed in jazz band throughout the years, but the consequences of some of my actions plus the treatment I received from a good chunk of my bandmates ruined a lot for me, especially lately.

Anyway, when I got back, I chilled in bio for the remaining twenty minutes of the school day. It basically was a sausagefest in that class since a majority of the girls had left to get all ready for prom and stuff. Once I got ready for the supposedly "magical" evening, it was definitely interesting to drive around in the deluge to go get gas, pick up Neha, and then drive over to Christina's house for pictures and such. As always, all the parents seemed so excited to see their kids all fancy-looking and such.

Prom definitely had its perks. My shoes weren't as bad as my mom originally thought since a lot of people found them to be neat. Either that, or a bunch of people lied to my face. Both Ms. Gray and Dr. Caravello felt younger as they put their dance shoes on for a bit. Chris, Tim, and Brent definitely had a nice coordination of white tuxes for the table. Neha was a cool date as she had an amazing dance groove of her own going for a majority of the time. There's more I'd like to say on the subject of prom and all the festivities people planned without me, but I can't think of the right words to say to minimize the damage if there were to be any at all. If you want to try to interpret my thoughts that I've withheld from here, talk to me on your own time.

I should just visit a psychologist so that he/she can determine just how messed up in the head I am.
