Oof
So, I've been cleaning house lately, nesting, I suppose.
It's funny how many things I never use, but still bothered to pack up and move here last April.
I am having clothing issues. Not much fits right now, but I don't want to get rid of anything, since I don't know what size I'll be once this baby comes. My old jeans still fit now, unbuttoned, but I'm not that far along yet. :/
I'm also torn over how much more to invest in maternity clothes, given that I'm already 18 weeks along. I wish I could find more stuff at the thrift store other than button-front denim dresses with pink floral embroidery. Ugh.
Speaking of pink, I asked Geo the other day how it can possibly be that I've been unemployed for 2 weeks already, yet haven't dyed my hair back to pink.
He said he was just about to ask me the same thing.
I should remedy that sometime in the not-too-distant future.
While I'm working on that to-do list, I should start getting weekly belly pics. Time keeps passing and I keep neglecting to do so. I can't believe this is already almost halfway done.
In other news, I've restretched my ears a bit, after letting them close up almost exactly a year ago. I'm at 2g now and liking it quite a bit. I'm probably going to stick here for a while.
I figure it's probably safest to keep my lobes at a size a baby can't reach their fingers through, at least for the first year or two.
(If you're wondering, it only took my ears a month or so to start looking fairly normal again, after being at 1/2" for nearly a year, if I remember right.)
This weekend I'm selling some prints with a friend for cheap at a Science Fiction themed restaurant-thing. I am broke, and need monies for Capitalism Day xmas crap.
