Today's National Talk Like A Pirate Day, but I don't feel like it. Yarr?
Steve from Blue's Clues is on Figure it Out.
Last night was a cold one here in San Marcos. Which was nice because we didn't have to run our A/C all night. The problem? It led crickets to the heat of our apartment. I woke up this morning and had to remove 9 crickets from my living room. Tiffany hates crickets, which only added to the stress of finding a cricket every time I turned around. They got in because the weather stripping under the front door isn't secured properly and doesn't fit the width of the door. So they sneak in through a cricket-sized gap.
Saw The Protector this weekend. I had to go buy Ong-Bak to feed my need for more Tony Jaa. The Protector was amazing. Although a bit ridiculous, the action was amazing. So many bones were broken and so many boes were thrown. Ong-Bak wasn't a let-down by any means either.
My bonsai was in bad shape, losing most of it's leaves and taking on a look of general illness, but after careful care is recovering. I've decided to start taking daily pictures of it...
flickr setThere are new leaves growing and small green buds that I think are new shoots growing. It seems to be getting better... I'm still working on the best way to care for a bonsai and... any plant really. I've got a couple others on my patio. I've got a young Podocarpus and a Dwarf Bottlebrush. I've also got a hibiscus that's currently living with my mom in Austin. It's going to stay there until I can come up with a way to transport it down to San Marcos safely. It's a tall plant and being that it blooms, I don't want the wind to rip the tops off everything while it rides home in the back of my truck.
Oh, I made a

I came across, and
delicioused, an
Official Seal Generator. My seal shouldn't really shock anyone:
It's hosted on
Image Shack so I don't know how long it'll last.
