Life has been extremely non-interesting this week. Each day feels like it's dragging (could it be because I finished all the projects on my list already?), though the week, overall, seems to be moving at a quick pace.
My intranet (and I call it mine since I did almost ALL the work on it) is just about wrapped up. The boss gave me a preview of my next 2 projects: the 1st involves designing a new PDA version of our desktop platform, which will involve APIs and whatnot, which is just so great seeing as I know NOTHING about APIs and PDA development; the 2nd involves an automated email to be sent 3 times each day with different info in each sending. I'm positive I'll have several hoops to jump through before that project is over!
At least I have finished version 1.1 of my website, which can be found at
http://jayandjen.brinkster.net/jen. I'm still working on a few applications for it, but, for now, it is done. I get to start working on the html for Jay's site (since it involves image slicin' and dicin') and THEN I get to design and develop our main site. It's a lot of work, but web development IS what I do best :D
Skating was a touch better this week than last, even though I just about passed out on the ice on Monday due to low blood sugar. I really should eat a larger lunch on days I skate. I started working on my double loop and double flip jumps on my own, which can be dangerous, but I'm a bit anxious to get my doubles back! A skating friend of mine will be in town this weekend and if I can get my arse out of bed at 7:30 am, I can skate with her on Saturday. I'm thinking I may just have to sit this one out and catch her next time!
This weekend we head to the Port Huron area for a welcome back party for our good buddy,
daveamongus. Should be a good time and the weather is *supposed* to be nice :)
I just found out the Mulan special edition DVD comes out next week - YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! :D
Well, time to get back to my ever-so-exciting TV watching. Catch ya on the flipside!
