Summary: He's all alone in the storm he's facing and the one he needs has disappeared.
A/N: This is a drabble written for a fiction of mine & aroruae which we intend to post it sometime :"3 It's called Live Twice and I like it a lot since it has my favorite genre: angst <33333 It's short, but I hope you can picture the main idea. Need you now
It’s past one o’clock in the night when he slips in the house, darkness and quietness welcoming him. He tries to make as less noise as possible and somehow he succeeds. He has never gotten this late back home without being welcomed by a warm and familiar presence. But now, that presence had turned cold and strange and he feels like not going home anymore, but it’s the only place he can still call home and he sort of wants this to remain this way.
A sound draws his attention to the slightly opened door of the one of the apartment’s rooms. His heartbeats speed up as he keeps staring at the door and almost hopes for it to open more and reveal the sleepy yet worried expression of his beloved. Yet he hopes in vain as this will not happen any soon now. They’ve lost the connection between them and now only the faint hope of being what they were before has remained.
Kazuya heaves a sigh as the alcohol in his veins makes him do what he knew he shouldn’t. Yet he can’t stop his legs from heading towards the door, pushing it some more and revealing the sleeping form of his amnesiac lover. The sight breaks his heart as his body instinctually wished for slipping under the covers next to him and hold him tight.
Such an imprudent thing this would be.
Jin doesn’t remember him anymore.
Jin doesn’t love him anymore.
Jin doesn’t want him anymore.
Jin… doesn’t belong to him anymore.
