New York Comic Con, this weekend
fuck. wow. kinda nervous, to say the least. Its probably my best chance this year to talk to publishers and make some connections that might help me get this book off the ground. After writing/illustrating it for so many months, I'm as eager to talk to them as I am nervous of telling them too much.
I need a LOT of business cards, and a quick mock-up of the first chapter ... by 1pm tomorrow.

[ALSO: Chuck D of Public Enemy is gonna be there ...which is a really funny coincidence since I'm halfway through painting a huge 30" x 40" of him and Flavor Flav, something that would go great above the fireplace (haha!). Chuck's kinda been my hero as of the last month, kinda ever since seeing this:
