The Knife of Never Letting Go by
Patrick Ness My rating:
2 of 5 stars I have a love/hate relationship with this book. I'm only giving it two start though because of the ending.
I loved the concept, I loved the suspense, I loved how the story unfolded and I loved the three main characters.
I hated the ending, I hated how there was never anything good that happened to the main characters and if there was it soon ended in doom. I hate, hate, hated what happened to Manchee.
I believe a book should end with some resolution. Even if it is a part of series the book should still be able to stand alone, leaving you excited about the next book but not feeling like the story was totally cut off leaving you hanging, wondering wtf happens next.
Because the book was filled with sooooo much gloom and doom and because I hated the ending so much and because I'm still pissed off the dog had to die, I probably will not be reading any more of this series.
