There were once islands with spiraling tides.
Out in the corridors,
Beyond the blackest night mind could fictionalize,
Before electricity
Before prime examples of what a cancer we are.
There were once islands with spiraling tides.
I will light a spark to acquire god’s attention.
I will ignite a fire large enough to effect the whole human connection.
I am standing on the highest limb on the tallest tree.
I am shouting out names and pointing fingers.
I will set fire to these heights just to get your attention.
There were once beaches that stretched for days.
There was once true freedom and it wasn't made of ignorance.
There were once times when a body could float freely for miles.
Minds could separate without leaving their heating boxes.
A mind could once light a spark large enough for the gods to see.
A mind could once ignite a fire ramped enough to change the world.
Out with the fallen,
And over the mist.
Let's hide out in the boat,
Over the water
Over the waves
Past the sunrise
In the sea.
