Ever since I was 10, I've loved taking photos. Of course, when I was 10, I was obsessed with Power Rangers and Beanie Babies, so pictures would usually revolve around them. XD But now, thankfully, I have turned to nature photography. Specifically, Alaskan scenery.
I thought I'd share some of the pictures I've taken over the last few years with all of you because I adore Alaska so much and I want others to see some of its beauty! :) That sounded incredibly cheesy, but it's true. XD
Some examples:
Hee, I disobeyed the sign. XD
haha, I love the eagle on the left. XD He was trying to balance on the table. :P
Ice fog! *shiver*
Yes, those are green Converse waiting at the end of the footsteps... :D
I had to kneel in at least a foot of snow to get down to the level of these little guys. And I was only wearing jeans. XD
Icicles are sometimes four feet long here, or longer.
This one got so huge, it was able to pierce the sun! XD
The following pictures of the fires are from my college. Every year we have a tradition called Starvation Gulch and it basically consists of burning huge piles of wooden pallets. XD My friend likes to call this picture the "Burning Heart."
The following five pictures were taken in my friend Savanna's garden. Her mom plants all sorts of flowers, so there are always prime photo opportunities. :)
I have a lot more, but these were some of my favorites. :) Thanks for taking time to look at them all! :)
