Glee!
I have good news! Apologies for it taking me so long to write it up. Things in our house are horrible and it's possibly giving me a stomach ulcer. I keep asking people if I can come live in their closet. XD But anyway, on with the news!
As some of you know, I now have a job! Whoo, squee and yay! It was about 1:30pm on Friday when Tina from the university called and offered me a part time job. I had a choice between a mix of shifts, some 9:30 to 12:30 and some 2 to 5, or just 2 to 5 shifts, and I chose the latter because hopefully I'll be able to still do all my TAFE classes around it. I'm going in on the 10th to see her and give her my tax file number and bank details and get my exact timetable. Hurm, I'll also have to ask her how much I'm getting paid so I can tell Centrelink and see if they'll take away or reduce my youth allowance payments or what. Can someone please come with me? I don't want to get lost. XD
I start on Monday the 17th at the main University library, shelving books 5 days a week, a three hour shift each day, and 1 weekend in 4, during the school term only. I get a kick out of telling people I'm working at the university. It makes me sound intelligent, when all I'm being is a glorified shelf stacker. =D
So, yay! A job = money = Canada = Bloody Awesome! <3<3<3 =D
