Dinner and Explanations

It had been a strange few days for Dean, to say the very least. He hadn't slept much in the past few nights- being awoken by nightmares instead. He'd gotten the Dreamless Sleep potion from Ginny, but hadn't wanted to use it until it was a last resort. The last resort had come today, however, when Bingley had sent him home from the office again, telling him not to come back until Friday. Luckily, Dean had gotten Hannah's letter when he got home, and planned his day accordingly.
The Dreamless Sleep potion gave him several uninterrupted hours of good rest (albeit in the middle of the day) but Dean woke up in time to start preparing dinner- nothing fancy, just some grilled chicken with pasta and a homemade marinara sauce. It was just about ready when it was time to head over to the Leaky to meet Hannah.
Dean was more than a little nervous as he waited for Hannah. He knew he hadn't been quite himself the past few days, and the fact that he hadn't received any word from Hannah until this morning was very worrying. So, he waited at the bar, nursing a Firewhiskey until Hannah arrived.
