Narcissa sat by Draco's bed, watching him sleep. She had slipped in after knocking and getting no response. A comfortable chair had been moved closer to the bed, and she was curled up in it, keeping herself awake by making notes in her journal. She felt heavenly; she hadn't had so much physical attention from Lucius in months and months. She had this satisfied smile on her face, wondering if she shouldn't try to start seducing him as much as possible. He had been amazing, and looking over at Draco, she remembered some of their first moments of intimacy as a married couple that resulted in their son.
Lucius had said he wouldn't become a werewolf, which had been a relief but she would have stuck by his side, regardless. She thought as she made a few notes in her journal, he probably would never have thought that possible. She had looked at him carefully when she had first come into his room. His color was much better, and he seemed to be in less pain then when last she had seen him. She internally cursed the Registry again; the curfew that kept her from staying with him and being with him was terrible. She sighed, and turned back to her journal. She didn't want to wake him, but refused to wait in the hall. He was her son. He was precious to her. He had to know that, when ever he awoke.
