[[I'm jumping on this, but any other Weasley sibs who want to have stayed the night, or who want to come over to check on Ickle Ronnikins, are of course still welcome to do so!]]

Percy was familiar with the concept, at least, of picking up a drunk person at a party in the hopes they'd end up in your bed. He was fairly sure this wasn't exactly how it was supposed to go. For one thing, the idea was to end up in your bed with them, not sleeping on your couch all night. And for another, it wasn't supposed to be your brother ( ... )

Charlie stirred, rolling over on the very uncomfortable sofa in the small office. He'd stayed the night there to make sure that Ron was taken care of. He'd slept remarkably well considering the circumstances and the smallness of the couch... perhaps all those months of sleeping on the cold ground in Romania when he was in intensive studies ( ... )

"Percy, am I at your place? How did I get here?"

Ron sat up and rubbed his head. He looked around blearily, and felt the depression begin to settle on him like a blanket.

"Percy, I feel terrible. I could use that remedy, if its handy."

Ron gave his brother a look and then glanced at the other voice at the door.

"Piss off, Charlie. My head is killing me."

"The sooner he's coherent, the sooner we can get down to business," Percy replied, his voice not warming one jot. He didn't disagree with Charlie's opinion, but he also wanted to get the straight of what had happened last night as quickly as possible. There were other ways to make sure Ron paid for what he did. For one, lecturing him at length, which Percy most certainly intended to do. Once Ron was alert enough to appreciate it.

Disappearing briefly into the W/C, he came out with a small vial, which he placed in Ron's hand. "Drink the water down, too. It'll help. Then we can talk."

As he waited for Ron to obey, he retrieved his dressing gown from the closet, feeling a bit more together once he had that on.

Fred hadn't had nearly enough to drink to create a hangover. He'd been too busy either entertaining children or looking after Ron or locating his girlfriend, so that he could tell her that he was going with his brothers, for the night.

The last bit hadn't been hard, she'd found their table, just as they were getting ready to leave.

Still, Fred was not a morning person. This was doubly true, when he'd been forced to sleep on the floor of a rather small flat. Nevermind that morning was almost over... People were moving around and talking and he was still trying to sleep.

"Talk somewhere else," he groaned, turning over and covering his head with a pillow, to block out the light.

Charlie peeked outside the bedroom, looking to where Fred was laying. "Shut up, Fred." he rolled his eyes. "If you didn't want to be part of this, you shouldn't have tagged along. Get your lazy arse up and help. Mum may not be here, but you're not going to sleep the day away." he said, with just the slightest hint of amusement. He was feeling remarkably responsible, far more than he had before his marriage and such. Being the oldest around amused him greatly.

He looked back to Ron, waiting for him to drink the potion down. "You know, Perce, when you finally decide to let us come over, you do it up right." he chuckled. "Three of us in one night? You're going to clean all day after we leave, aren't you?" He ran his hand lazily through his curly hair, trying to tame it just a bit.

Ron swallowed the last bit of potion and drank the water, giving Percy a grateful look. And then he blinked in surprise at Fred's voice, and looked down to the floor. He looked from brother to brother, and then ended at Percy, "Thanks for taking me in, Percy. I was a bit of a mess, wasn't I? Did I cause a big scene? I don't remember much."

He trailed off, seeing it clearly written on Charlie and Percy's face that he had royally messed up.

"Oh. How bad was it? Really bad? Oh man!"

And he fell back on the bed flat and said, "Dad and Mom...."

He sat up again, almost too quickly and winced, "Did Dad and Mom see? Are they mad? Oh, shit, I've really gone and done it now. So, is anyone gonna tell me what happened?"

"Four of us," George corrected, from the kitchen, where he'd been writing in his journal. Noticing that everyone else was stirring, he quickly snapped it shut, before anyone could see the conversation he was having with Harry.

Now being the trickster and joker he was (and, like his twin, not above a little blackmail) George found himself wrestling with the instinct to tell Ron exactly what had happened or hold out, just to see his little brother squirm a while...

This latter plan would have been heartily agreed upon by Fred, had he been awake. However, seeing as George's twin was definately not awake yet and he had Percy and Charlie to contend with, George decided to not quite go the direct route, but took a sort of round-about approach.

"How much do you remember, Ron?" he asked.

"I do hope you're not planning to make me spend the entire day cleaning," Percy retorted, giving Charlie a level look. More for form's sake, since he knew his elder brother was teasing him, but he would also not put it beyond the three of them to disturb his monastically tidy flat just for amusement. Ron, at least, seemed hardly in any condition to do damage. "You can be sure of never being invited over again if you do ( ... )

Fred groaned again, in his sleep and hugged his pillow closer to his head. With a sigh, George slipped their journal into his pocket and got up to go lean over his twin. "Give it up, Fred," he said, nudging his mirror image with his foot. "You can sleep later ( ... )
