Augustus was dressed nicely, if very simply. Certainly this wasn't one of his finest sets of robes, but it was above the average. His cloak was quite bland, however, but very practical. In fact, most of his attire could be classified as practical. He found it a better use of his money in general.
Stepping up to the house, his mind wandered briefly. Roquelaures. They'd fought in the war. She was on the Registry, though, after a little sleuthing, he'd found out she'd actually fought with the Order. Accepting an invitation to someone's home was a risky endeavour under most circumstances, though his lip turned upward just enough to crease his face as his attention went to his left arm. The Ministry knew. Whether they cared, was irrelevant, at least currently.
He had accepted the invitation knowing this, though. Knowing that she had been with the Order, knowing she'd been frustrated with how she'd been treated. He agreed, incidentally, with her. If someone who'd fought for the Order, had no previous experience with Death Eater activity and was not one of the beasts, had been placed on the Registry, it was a faulty system indeed.
One he intended to rectify, with Lucius Malfoy's aid of course.
He knocked on the door and waited patiently. He was precisely on time, but that didn't mean she was.
