Harry spent a good bit of the day studying, as usual. Despite his whinning and moaning about the time and effort he was spending towards his NEWTs, he was stubborn. He wasn't ready to quit yet. He'd sworn to himself, though, that he was not going to allow himself to be cut off from those he loved because of his desire to finish his schooling. He had watched the clock carefully today, knowing that Ginny would be prompt as she always was. He rose from the table where he'd been studying, closing his books and leaving them in a neat pile at the corner of the table. He headed towards his bedroom and nearly tripped over Crookshanks. The old cat let out an indignent hiss in his general direction and went on his way as Harry mumbled an appology to him as he continued on to his room, closing the door behind him. Hedwig chittered at him from her open cage and he tossed her an owl treat before picking up his room a bit. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on between he and Ginny, but if she decided to stay the night, he didn't exactly want his boxers out there for her to see.
He finished the quick clean-up, showered and dressed in one of his better t-shirts, jeans and trainers, always remaining mindful of the time. He had about 20 minutes to apparate out and get dinner before Ginny would be there, and so he popped out to his favourite Chinese place, and popped back with 5 minutes to spare with an assortment of foods he knew both he and Ginny enjoyed, as well as a bit of extra food for Hermione.
He was setting the table and dishing out the food when the clock struck 6.
